The Clinic is a brand-new phone support service available to artists and producers who have questions about getting a show on the road.
Each Thursday, 4 x 30-minute timeslots are available to book a chat with AOT's Marketing & Administration Manager, Mark Salvestro.
The Clinic is suited to artists and producers interested in learning more about performing arts touring in Australia.
Mark can serve as a sounding board, share knowledge about the Australian arts ecology and touring landscape, and distribute helpful templates, contact lists and resources to assist artists and producers to develop their own tours. While best suited to those newer to touring, Mark can also liaise with the wider AOT team on an as-needed basis to provide support to more experienced touring producers.
Sessions are available on the half-hour between 2-4pm each Thursday, commencing 13 March. Book a session via the button below. Please allow at least 36 hours' notice prior to a booking.
As the peak body for performing arts touring in NSW, Arts on Tour's goals include leading on best practice and building the touring capacity of the performing arts sector as a whole. As a small team of just six staff, we unfortunately can't take on every show for touring. The Clinic is a reminder that our door is always open to help and empower artists and producers to build a stronger, more sustainable arts touring sector.
In addition to being Arts on Tour's Marketing and Administration Manager, Mark Salvestro is an independent actor, writer and theatre producer. He has worked in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and Cooma in southeast NSW, and toured work in regional NSW and to Fringe Festivals across Australia.

Arts on Tour is based in Redfern NSW and we respectfully acknowledge the Gadigal people as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of the unceded land on which we work.
As we tour artists and productions across these vast lands, we pay our respect to all First Nations Elders, past, present and future.
We celebrate their continuing connection and contribution to culture, country and community, and thank all First Nations peoples for their wisdom in caring for the land, the sky, the rivers and the sea.
