We partner with presenters to bring high quality productions to regional audiences and to maximise the impact of these tours for your audiences and community at large. Ultimately, it is this potential impact that drives us in all the work we do.

Arts on Tour works with regional presenters nationally across Australia, with a network of over 150 professional performing arts venues. 

We work with presenters to support your artistic, audience development and community impact goals.

At a fundamental level, this means developing and delivering tours that enable you to program high quality work, and coordinating additional activities to engage the broader community. We know that touring a diverse range of productions, made both regionally and in our cities, contributes to the richness and liveability of regional centres – with significant cultural, social, economic and health benefits.

With this in mind we are increasingly exploring opportunities to expand the parameters of touring and to explore how AOT can better support presenters in maximising the community impact of arts experiences.

We are also passionate about facilitating the development of long-term relationships between producers and presenters – relationships that generate ideas, opportunities and creative exchange.

In NSW...
In NSW we have two further goals in working with presenters. We connect NSW presenters directly with NSW producers and artists through our Salon events which we hold each year in Sydney, in regional NSW towns, or online. 

We also work with community presenters in regional NSW to play a role in culturally activating smaller towns which don't have a professional performing arts centre and to broaden the reach of professional work. We do this by providing support to community presenters through our Backroads Initiative.
