Acknowledgement of Country
We honour the Traditional Owners of these Lands
In 2021 Arts on Tour commissioned Kirli Saunders to write an Acknowledgement of Country poem. Kirli, a proud Gunai Woman and award-winning writer and artist, has a passion for enlivening spaces and engaging broad audiences in bold conversations for social impact. An experienced speaker and facilitator advocating for the environment, gender and racial equality and LGBTIQA+ rights, Kirli was the NSW Aboriginal Woman of the Year (2020).
We worked with Carnival Studio to create a video based on, and read by, Kirli Saunders.
