Want to know more about touring? Not sure where to start? Arts on Tour offers a full-day laboratory that explores everything you need to know about getting your work on the road!
Designed for independent artists, producers and companies who are new to touring or want to learn more about performing arts touring in regional Australia, the Arts on Tour Touring Lab provides practical advice and support as well as networking opportunities.
The lab includes practical tips on how to get your work on the road, including a venue perspective on programming and audience engagement. You will also hear about what you need to do marketing wise and get technical advice from those that know what can and does go wrong. There will be opportunities to ask questions and the Arts on Tour team will lead on discussions about budgeting for a tour, applying for grants, mental health on the road, plus much more.
Lunch will be provided and is included in your ticket price. Plus enjoy a drink on us at the end of the day to begin the networking part of the workshop. Places are strictly limited and we sell out quickly so join our newsletter, like our page on Facebook and follow us on Instagram to be the first to hear when the bookings open. At this stage 'save the date' and we'll let you know when the tickets go on-sale.
Our next Touring Lab will be in 2021.
Hear from NSW presenters, experienced tourers and the Arts on Tour team.
